Geopark Host

Selected Geopark hosts will introduce you to the combination of volcanic landscape with epicurean delights, artistic creativity or eventful activity.

For this purpose, the Geopark hosts take part in training courses and excursions by the Vulkaneifel Nature Park and UNESCO Global Geopark and actively participate in the offer group. As a further prerequisite for receiving this award "Geopark Host Vulkaneifel", they fulfil defined quality and environmental criteria for ecological, economic and social sustainability and recognise the Sustainable Development Goals 2030 of the United Nations. In return, the Geopark hosts benefit from extensive marketing and a variety of nature experience offers.
