The Dronketurm was built on the schlachtenberg between Gemündener and Weinfelder Maar in 1902 as a viewing castle. The platform on which the tower is located is ideal for enjoying the breathtaking view for a little longer. You can relax and take a breather on the wooden benches and loungers built for this purpose. The 11-meter-high monument on the 561-meter-high Mäuseberg was built in honor of the first chairman of the Eifel Association, Dr. Adolf Dronke, built.
